The 1968 mustang’s steering system is located aft of the steering box and came with a tie rod attached to the back of the hub (aft of the Z-axis of the wheel), whereas the moonhawk’s steering system is forward of the steering box and tie rod is attached to the front of the hub. The steering originally came out of the moonhawk however it was heavily modified to a completely different setup. Suspension and steering also had an overhaul. The Jbeam is based off of the Moonhawk but several major changes were made to fit the body and panels of the mustang. Different variants (stock, race, fastback, convertible, auto, manual.)

This is the 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500KR.Ībout a year and a half of work has gone into this mod to make it crash and handle just like the real thing.
